Meet Hedy Price-Paley, an artist and realtor who read about alpacas in a travel magazine. While recovering from a serious illness a few years ago, she purposely drew more Life into her life. The peace and curiosity of alpacas inspired her, and owning a select few was one of her celebrations of healing.

In SpinningStar Alpacas' workshop, Hedy weaves on a rigid heddle loom, spins yarn on a drop spindle, and creates dry felted purses, badges and wall-hangings. Her cozy store offers fleece from her alpacas and colorful yarn, as well as scarves, gloves, vests, and sweaters.

Hedy's annual fall Alpaca Fashion Show is always well-attended. She carries a beautiful line of fine alpaca clothing, available year-round: coats, jackets, reversible vests, sweaters, ruanas, shawls, and much more. Please call or email Hedy for complete information on patterns and colors.
